Yolm Brings MCP-Powered AI Directly Into Business Systems With Spark

Open-standard integration lets AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT work inside a company's own data, with its existing security and audit controls. Early testing showed 96% agreement with expert-built results.

TAMPA, Fla., October 6, 2026 – Yolm, the AI business platform, today announced support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP) in Spark, its business systems layer. MCP is an open standard for connecting AI tools to software. With this release, AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT/Codex can securely read, analyze and act on a company's operational data directly in Spark. Organizations no longer need to copy their data into separate AI tools.

Most businesses trying AI today end up with disconnected "islands": separate tools with their own logins, their own copies of company data and no shared record of what the AI did. Yolm takes a different approach. AI working through Spark follows the same authentication, permissions, audit logs and single sign-on as the rest of the business. Users can ask questions that draw on data from across their business software and get answers ready for production use.

"AI is only as useful as what it can see and what it's allowed to do," said Ralf Haug, CEO of Yolm. "With MCP in Spark, AI works inside the business, under the same rules as everyone else. That turns hours of manual work into minutes, and every result can be traced back to its source."

Key capabilities in this release

📄

Document-to-data automation

Spark turns unstructured inputs such as PDFs and emails into structured business records. In testing with Claude Opus 5.5, AI-generated bills of materials matched expert manual work 96% of the time. The remaining differences were judgment calls on which experts could reasonably disagree.

🔍

Source traceability

Every AI-generated record links back to the exact page of the document it came from, so reviewers can verify results in seconds.

✅

Built-in validation

Spark's validation tooling lets the AI find and correct its own errors before a person reviews the output.

✍️

Minimal prompting

In on-site testing, a two-line prompt produced a complete, complex record set that would have taken a skilled employee hours to build by hand.

🔗

Connections to external tools

MCP lets Spark exchange data with platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot and supplier catalog services, so information flows into workflows without re-keying.

💲

Predictable AI costs

Customers use their own flat-rate AI subscriptions instead of pay-per-use API pricing. This keeps automation costs low as usage grows.

Built for any business

Early deployments already cover several industries. In manufacturing, Spark automates estimating from customer drawing packages. In maintenance operations, it powers mobile work-order management and dashboards on data from existing systems. A digital marketing firm with about 100 agents uses Yolm's Forge development environment with Claude Code to maintain its own scheduling system without a developer.

Adoption can start small. Organizations begin with one high-effort process, such as quoting, shipping, inventory or maintenance, prove the value, and then expand across departments. They don't need to replace their systems all at once.

"The nature of work is shifting from data entry to judgment," Haug added. "People spend less time re-typing information and more time reviewing, deciding and serving customers. Companies can grow without growing their headcount at the same rate."
